The Sacrament of Confirmation was conferred according to the traditional rite of the Catholic Church by Bishop Bernard Fellay of the Society of Saint Pius X. Through the laying on of hands, anointing with sacred chrism, and the invocation of the Holy Ghost, the confirmands received a strengthening of baptismal grace to profess and defend the Catholic faith with greater courage and fidelity.
