The Traditional Catholic Rite of Baptism welcomed newborn Mary into the life of the Church through ancient prayers, exorcisms, anointings, and the saving waters of Baptism. Through this sacrament, she was cleansed from original sin, received sanctifying grace, became a child of God, and was incorporated into the Mystical Body of Christ.
