Groups and Ministries
Parish life continues beyond Sunday Mass. Prayer, Catholic fellowship, and practical service help families support one another and assist the work of the priests. At Our Lady of Victory and the Shrine of Saint Philomena, the groups below provide established ways to take part in that life.
Prayer and service in the parish
The Society of Saint Pius X describes its Third Order as a way for lay Catholics to share in the Society's spirit while pursuing sanctification in their own state of life. Parish associations also offer opportunities to honor the Holy Name, support the liturgical life of the chapel, and cultivate devotion to Our Lady. Their purpose is spiritual as well as practical: to help members live their Catholic faith faithfully at home and in the community.
Laity Groups

Third order of the SSPX
It was founded for the purpose of giving all Catholics a share in the spirit of the Society of St. Pius X. It helps in personal sanctification by associating its members with the life of the Society, under the patronage of Pope St. Pius X. The Third Order is in a way the family of the SSPX, with a rule of life, Catholic fellowship, and mutual assistance.

Holy Name Society
This society of men promotes reverence for the Sacred Names of God and Jesus Christ, obedience and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church, and the personal sanctification and holiness of its members, as well as a way to perform works for their local chapel. (Boys' Catechism, Ushers, Men's Night, Ora & Labora)

League of Our Lady of Victory
This Society is in our community like the two sister-friends of Jesus: Mary and Martha. Mary was inclined to the contemplation while Martha was more inclined to active service. It offers these two types of dedication: prayer and assistance of the priests in multiple tasks.
How to get involved
Read the individual group pages for their purposes and activities. Before attending a meeting or undertaking parish duties, contact the parish to confirm current arrangements and the appropriate person to speak with. Those interested in serving at the altar can begin with our guide for prospective altar servers.
