Introduction
Convince the ego to worship the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit says to the Father, O Lord Jesus, the Son of Man, accept your Son. And the Son of Man, accept your Mother. And from now on, accept your Son. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. The Holy Spirit is the only God. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
Celebrating the Feast of the Immaculate Heart
And very blessed feast to the Immaculate Heart, to everybody, everybody, though it's only a second-class feast day in the church's calendar, it is one of extreme import, especially in the modern times, so please make sure that we give our victorious queen her due.
Reception of New Souls and Blessing of Medals
Just a couple of very short things. The first thing is that I apologize that we didn't have a rosary before Mass. I know it's very correct to do so because it's the Feast of Our Lady, especially, but considering that we were blessed to be able to receive a new soul into the church today, I think Our Lady understands. Again, her Immaculate Heart triumphs. Little by little, she keeps winning ground, so rather we celebrate this great event. Because of that reception to the church, the gentleman who received the faith as well as his wife will come forward and receive the Blessed Sacrament first before the choir, before the service, and they'll receive the Blessed Sacrament, his first Holy Communion.
Then also, after the Credo, we are going to have the Blessing of Medals and the reception of some young men into the Archconfaternity of St. Stephen for servers. We chose this date because traditionally this is actually the Feast of St. Tarsisius, the young man who lost his life defending the Blessed Sacrament against those who would be killed by the Holy Spirit. So, I think it's a good time to try to defile it. So, a very apt moment for young men to be received into the Archconfaternity in service to the Sacrifice of the Mass and the Blessed Sacrament, not to mention the fact of entering into the service of Our Lady, the Immaculate Heart. So, that will be right after the Credo.
The Triumph of Our Lady's Immaculate Heart
When we think about Our Lady, the Immaculate Heart, automatically we think to Fatima. We think of her words. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. Those words just ring out with so much hope for us because as bad as everything may be, as dark as everything may be coming, as difficult as things may be, as weak as we may be, we know that there is hope for us because our Blessed Mother is there fighting by our side. And she is ever victorious. She never loses. She always wins. And again, her victories will be immense. Her victories will be constant. But many times, we doubt too much or we let the burdens and cares of this world weigh us down too far. And she is not going to be able to take care of that for us. She will cure us of everything. She will save us from everything. She will uplift us through everything. But we have to have confidence and faith in her. Not a blind superstition, but just a firm knowledge and an absolute dedication to the fact that she will triumph. She is triumphing. She is our Lady of Victory. Her Immaculate Heart will triumph.
Our Role in the Spiritual Battle
And as much as we may like to get confused or confounded by everything that is going on, it is necessary for us to have faith in her. She will never let us down. Our faith in her must be absolute. That doesn't mean she'll take away everything. That doesn't mean she'll just take us straight to Heaven and make it easy for us. It doesn't mean that she'll... clear all the rubble aside. That we'll just be able to walk through the easiest path. We'll still have to do the walking. We'll still have to trudge up that mountain. We'll still have to do sacrifices. We'll still have to pray. We'll still have to work on virtue. But we just have to know that we can overcome any obstacle and that anything that is placed in our path is possible for us to conquer. Why? Because she is there conquering it for us. All we have to do is pitch in to do what we are supposed to do. She will, as a good mother will, lift us up. She will, as a good general will do, give us the direction that we need to conquer the enemy that wages war against us. But we must battle by her side.
It is never... the war is never over until we are by her side in Heaven. So while we are here on Earth, she is by our side fighting our battles for us. But we have to pick up the sword and we have to fight with her. It is not enough to just simply say Mary will take care of it... though we should say that. But it is not enough. We too must also pick up the sword. We go hand in hand with her. We fight with her, but we trust entirely in her. If it's just our battle, we will lose. But if we leave it just to her, we won't keep up. So we must pick up the sword and we will fight. our sword as well. We must fight by her side and we must trust absolutely in the promise that her Immaculate Heart will triumph and that her sacrifices, her gift of herself to us can overcome any and every obstacle and difficulty we can run into and we can become truly happy with her in heaven.
