Captain Responsibilities

Ensure the Presence of Adorers

As a captain, your primary duty is to guarantee that at least two adorers, including yourself, are present during your designated time slot.

Lead the Congregation in Prayer

Captains play a vital role in fostering a spirit of devotion by leading the congregation in prayer at appropriate moments.

Confirm the Arrival of the Next Captain

To maintain continuous adoration, you are responsible for ensuring that the next scheduled captain is present. If necessary, you may contact them in advance or arrange for a replacement from among the parishioners should any last-minute changes arise.

What To Expect

On the morning of the scheduled adoration, each captain will receive an email containing the names and phone numbers of the adorers assigned to the each captain's corresponding time slot. This information is provided to assist captains in ensuring that at least two adorers are present at all times.
The email will also include a printable PDF with the designated prayers for their time slot, along with a contact list of all other captains and security personnel for use in case of emergencies.

We are grateful for your willingness to serve as a captain for our all-night adoration. May God bless you for your dedication to this sacred duty.
